Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy offers a safe and confidential space where you can pause, reflect, and focus on your wellbeing. At different stages of life, many people experience anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, burnout, grief, or simply feel disconnected from the life they wish to live. In these moments, working with a psychologist and psychotherapist can help you gain clarity, develop new perspectives, and move toward meaningful change.

You don’t have to wait until things get worse

Many people seek therapy only when they feel overwhelmed. However, psychotherapy is not only for times of crisis. It can also be an opportunity for personal growth, greater self-awareness, healthier relationships, and developing practical skills that contribute to a more balanced and fulfilling life.

What happens during the first session?

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, explore the reasons that brought you to therapy, and discuss your expectations and goals. There is no need to prepare in advance or know exactly what you want to say.

Many people worry that they need to have a clearly defined problem before starting therapy. That is not necessary. Simply coming as you are is enough. Together we will explore your concerns and decide how therapy can best support you.

55 minutes dedicated to you

Each psychotherapy session lasts 55 minutes, providing enough time for meaningful conversation, reflection, and evidence-based therapeutic work.

How does the therapeutic process work?

Every therapeutic process is unique and tailored to your individual needs. Together we explore thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and life experiences that contribute to your current difficulties while identifying practical strategies to help you move forward.

The goal of psychotherapy is not to eliminate every life challenge, but to develop greater psychological flexibility, healthier coping strategies, and a life that is more consistent with your personal values and long-term goals.

Confidentiality

Everything discussed during psychotherapy is treated with strict confidentiality in accordance with professional, ethical, and legal standards. Creating a safe, respectful, and confidential environment is one of the foundations of effective therapeutic work.

The first step is often the most important

Seeking support is not a sign of weakness. More often, it is a sign of courage—the willingness to invest in yourself, your wellbeing, and a more meaningful life.

Sometimes, one conversation can become the beginning of a new chapter.
