Coming Soon

Using Metaphors in CBT Modalities

A one-day professional workshop dedicated to the practical use of metaphors across different cognitive behavioural therapy modalities. Metaphors help clients understand complex psychological processes in a simpler, more vivid, and emotionally accessible way.

During the workshop, participants will learn more than 150 carefully selected therapeutic metaphors, as well as ways to apply them in practice when working with children, adolescents, and adults.

The workshop includes demonstrations, experiential exercises, clinical examples, and guidance that allows participants to apply what they have learned directly in their own therapeutic practice.

02

Who Are the Workshops For?

Workshops in the field of psychology, psychotherapy, and personal development are intended for psychologists, psychotherapists, psychotherapy trainees, and other professionals who want to develop their knowledge and skills.

They are equally open to the general public — anyone who wants to better understand themselves, improve their relationships, develop coping skills for everyday challenges, or work on their own personal growth. No prior professional background is required.

Workshops are organised in person and online, making it possible to take part regardless of location.

03

What Can You Expect?

The workshops combine contemporary scientific findings, practical demonstrations, experiential exercises, analysis of clinical examples, and active discussion.

The goal is not just to acquire new knowledge, but to develop concrete skills that can be applied immediately in everyday work and life.

The workshops are intended for the therapist’s continuing professional development and can be a valuable part of the process of professional development and re-accreditation.

Format

Workshops are organised in-person and online, depending on the programme. The number of participants is often limited to allow for quality work, interaction, and enough room for questions and discussion.

Participant Experiences

Brief feedback from various workshops.

The workshop on values and goals was extremely useful to me because the theory was immediately linked to concrete exercises. I gained clear tools for working with clients who feel lost or unmotivated.

A.M.

The workshop on the first session helped me better structure the beginning of the therapeutic process. I gained concrete questions, guidance, and ideas on how to make the first meeting clearer and safer for the client.

N.K.

What meant the most to me was that the workshop wasn’t just a lecture, but practical work. Through demonstrations and examples, it was much easier to understand how to translate theory into an actual therapy session.

I.B.

The topic of compassion in therapeutic work was presented in a warm, clear, and applicable way. I particularly benefited from understanding how to help clients develop a more supportive relationship with themselves.

M.S.

The workshop on metaphors opened up a completely new way of thinking about therapeutic interventions for me. I came away with a large number of concrete metaphors and a clearer understanding of when to use them.

J.P.

I especially liked the combination of expertise, clarity, and a relaxed atmosphere. The workshop was concrete, yet deep enough to prompt reflection on one’s own therapeutic style.

E.H.

The workshop on goals helped me better distinguish surface-level goals from values-oriented work. Especially useful when working with clients who want change but don’t know which direction they want to go.

S.T.

I liked that every exercise had a clear purpose and an explanation of how it could be used in therapy. After the workshop, I felt I could immediately apply several new interventions.

L.K.

The workshop on the first session was especially important to me because it offered structure without being rigid. I gained ideas on how to better establish contact and lay the foundations of the therapeutic relationship.

D.V.

The greatest value of the workshops is their practicality. I always come away with concrete examples, clear guidance, and a sense that I can use what I’ve learned right away in therapeutic practice.

A.Š.

Continuous Learning

Every workshop is designed with the goal that participants gain knowledge and skills they can apply immediately in their professional work.

The best learning happens when theory becomes practice.
